Mr. Cee Resigning

In a tearful interview on Hot 97, DJ Mister Cee admitted that he has had oral sex with transgender men, and solicited transgender prostitutes in the past, but hasn’t since his arrest in May.

On Sept. 11, an audio clip surfaced from popular male blogger, Bimbo Winehouse, where a voice was heard that was allegedly DJ Mister Cee, soliciting sex from him, agreeing to pay $100 for sex. The famed DJ announced his resignation that day — however, he came back on air on Sept. 12 for a new interview.

Is Mr. Cee Resigning From Hot 97 After Prostitution Scandal?

In May 2013, Mister Cee, whose full name is Calvin LeBrun was arrested for soliciting a prostitute, and admitted on Hot 97 he had “an addiction…to prostitution.”

On the 11th, Mister Cee said on air that the video surfaced is from a year ago, and later in the segment announced he was retiring. Shortly after, General Manager and Senior Vice President of Hot 97, Alexandra Cameron released the following statement:

Due to some personal circumstances that have become public, after 20 years of service, Mister Cee has chosen to resign. We feel that this is in the best interest of both HOT 97 and Cee’s personal well-being. While we do not endorse the alleged activities, he is clearly facing a personal dilemma that is for him and only him to comment on. We are saddened by his departure; his contributions here at HOT 97 were great and we know him as a friend, a caring individual and significant hip hop advocate. We wish Mr Cee the best and will always consider him a family member of HOT 97. Moments ago, he officially signed off, on the air and will finish out his last show today on September 11, 2013, an already sad day for New York City.

Mister Cee took to twitter, writing: “I announced my resignation today from the job I loved to do at Hot 97 , please understand I never intended to let NY/NJ/CT all my fans down.”

GAN BOARDWALK FIRE 091213 1

SEASIDE PARK, N.J. — A fire that started at a New Jersey frozen custard shop in Seaside Park, N.J., and spread to other boardwalk businesses, including FunTown Pier, has now reached Seaside Heights, N.J., police said.

Emergency personnel arrived at the boardwalk in Seaside Park for a report of smoke about 2:30 p.m. A plume of gray smoke stretches as far north as Ortley Beach, N.J., as fire crews fight to douse the blaze. The cause of the fire is still unclear.

The fire that started at Kohr's Frozen Custard quickly compromised buildings on the west side, including what was left of FunTown Pier — the site of the roller coaster that was pushed into the ocean during Superstorm Sandy. A strong wind has worsened the firefighters' attempts, Police Chief Francis Larkin said.

Part of the FunTown Pier building has collapsed.

Seaside Heights firefighters will use construction equipment to remove sections of the town's newly rebuilt boardwalk in hopes of stopping the advance of the blaze, borough administrator John Camera said.

Miss Kansas Sgt. Theresa Vail showed off something different and a lot more permanent to the Tuesday preliminary swimsuit round of the Miss Americacompetition. She was the first contestant to expose her tattoos during the competition, according to People.

“Why am I choosing to bear my tattoos?” Vail told the magazine. “My whole platform is empowering women to overcome stereotypes and break barriers. What a hypocrite I would be if I covered my ink. How can I tell other women to be fearless and true to themselves if I can’t do the same? I am who I am, tattoos and all.”

Her tattoos of the U.S. Army Dental Corps on her left shoulder and the Serenity Prayer on her right side were clearly visible as she hit the stage in a red bikini.

Vail is also only the second member of the military to compete for the crown. She joined the Kansas National guard at 17 and is an expert M16 marksman. She also hunts, skydives, boxes and used to ride a motorcycle. Something she had to quit after breaking all over fingers on her right hand.
